Rice is second worst in the AAC in defensive efficiency in league play. Rice has given up 1.14 points per play in league games. Rice has allowed at least 73 points in five straight games. Their opponents have scored 81 points or more in three of their last five games.
The USF Bulls have struggled with defensive rebounding. They also foul far too much. Rice is 8th in FTA/FGA in the country, and they should get to the line a lot here. USF is 52nd in average possession length, so they are pushing the pace.
