These two teams square off in week three of the season. Kansas will be on the road to face a determined Eagles team who is undefeated on the year and they don’t plan on ruining that undefeated streak here this week.

A classic ACC vs Big 12 battle in the trenches here. This won’t be the highest watched game for this week but their are a lot of people who will be watching to see how these two teams carry themselves coming into the week.
Kansas Jayhawks- The Jayhawks come into this matchup coming off their first loss of the season against Coastal Carolina with a score of 12-7. Carter Stanley threw for 107 yards with two interceptions. Pooka was their top rusher with a total of 99 yards just shy of the 100 mark. I don’t expect the Jayhawks to win this thing but can they keep it close? The Jayhawks are 4-0 ATS in their last four after a SU loss and 6-2 in their last eight after an ATS loss. They hired the well known Les Miles to change this program around. It’s not going to happen after one year. To keep things tight in this game they will have to match their intensity and play physical football. I just don’t think the Jayhawks will be able to do that especially off a seven score game last week against a weak Coastal Carolina team. Kansas defense game up 172 rushing yards to the Chanticleers last week. When the Eagles are run first offense things don’t look good for the Jayhawks. On the other hand this is their first ever meeting against the Eagles and a win here would be the first against an ACC opponent since 2010.
Boston College Eagles- The Eagles come into this game with a good 2-0 start to the season. The Eagles are 11-4-1 in their last 16 on turf and 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 after a SU win. The line on this game backs that up with already a 3 point move. Don’t get me wrong, this ball club still has some things to work on but so far to start the year
their winning the games they need to win and that’s all that counts. They will rely heavy on the star back Corey Dillon to get things going on the ground game. Anthony Brown will take things over at the quarterback position. Last week Dillon rushed for two touchdowns with 17 rushes for 86yds. He split carries with David bailey who had 13 carries for 97 yards. I think with the dynamic duos in the backfield the fresh legs will be too much for the Jayhawks D-line.
Expect the Eagles to run all over them in this one. I like the Eagles to stay hot in this matchup and cover the points.
